New modified starch for wet end application from Indo Tapioca Starch
Paper wet end roller. The papermaking process involves a complex mix of natural and synthetic polymers, interacting through mechanical shear forces. Indo Tapioca Starch’s range of starches for the wet end gives manufacturers greater control over the papermaking process, improving the formation, drainage, retention and strength of the final sheet. Our recommended products Indo Tapioca Starch;s cationic starches are much more than just dry strength additives: they improve the effectiveness of retention, dewatering and sizing chemicals through synergistic action. This range includes new grades for use in recycled and wood-containing systems and includes products specifically targeted at papermakers with closed systems, looking for increased machine productivity. Novel starches are available that permit high levels of wet-end starch addition, allowing you to reduce - or in some cases even eliminate - the need for conventional surface treatment. Indo Tapioca Starch also provides starches specifically designed for applications such as food contact paper and boards, where low chloride levels are required.
